The P ZERO™ Race TLR is the most performing tyre in our portfolio as well as the first tyre with a tubeless technology entirely made in Italy. The SPEEDCORE technology in the 120 TPI casing uses a layer of compound mixed with aramid covering the inner layer of the tyre, improving both smoothness and resistance: a less stiff but faster tyre. The compound maintains the same advanced SmartEVO technology shared with the other high-performance tyres in the P ZERO™ range. Classic edition with a tan sidewall.

What's the secret to our tyres? Let's take a look at some of the motorsport-derived technologies applied to our cycling tyres

SMARTEVO COMPOUND

The most advanced racing chemical formulation for road use, born from the Motorsport experience of Pirelli and the collaboration with the factory World Tour teams. The SmartEVO Compound features a single-compound formulation based on three different polymers, each providing opposite performances in a perfect blend. The advanced mixture of polymers with 'smart' behaviour is the key element of the SmartEVO Compound, providing better grip and rolling resistance in any weather condition. A high-performance formulation developed for modern road cycling, from everyday training to World Tour racing, and an exclusive feature of the P ZERO™ range.

SPEEDCORE CASING

The highest-performing tubeless-ready road casing in our range, with a unique design that adds an aramid band within the tyre’s rubber layer. This structure adds strength and support to the casing but retains a supple feel for minimal rolling resistance and maximum grip, compared with a full bead-to-bead aramid construction. A 120 TPI nylon casing adds puncture protection and security. SPEEDCORE is patent-pending, exclusive to the P ZERO™ Race tubeless models and the choice of the World Tour factory teams.

TECHBELT ROAD CASING

TechBELT Road is a reinforced road casing available in 120, 60 or 26 TPI, enhanced by a puncture-resistant nylon layer beneath the tread. An extremely reliable construction that ensures high levels of comfort for any type of use, from racing (120 TPI) to daily commuting (26 TPI).

P ZERO™ Race TLR SL was developed together with professional riders of the World Tour and is our fastest and best-performing tubeless-ready road tyre of its generation, thanks to a lighter casing than the P ZERO™ Race TLR and a slick tread pattern that enhances speed and racing feel. It uses the lightweight TechWALL Road construction with a slick World Tour-derived tread: a race-day tyre with ultimate performance. The 28-622 is compatible with hookless rims up to the ETRTO limit of 5 bar / 73 psi.

TECHWALL ROAD CASING

The TechWALL Road is a traditional 120 TPI carcass which gives up the additional layer of fabric needed by a tubeless-ready construction in favour of a superior racing feel, thanks to a simpler and more supple casing. The reinforcement layers and the aramid breaker under the tread make it a reliable yet fast casing, the choice of the World Tour factory teams and an exclusive feature of the P ZERO™ range.

The P ZERO™ Race 4S is the successor of the famous P ZERO™ Velo 4S, a further evolution of our best-selling all-season tyre. A new compound improves wet and cold weather performance, revised construction improves handling, and a thicker tread increases durability for year-round riding on the TechBELT Road tube-type casing.
